Located in the Lotte Shopping Center is Sonia Jewelry and Bridal. Visited by many mainly for their jewelry. However, it also provides additional services for its customers. We have bought jewelry over the years and on one of those visits many years ago came across a young tailor who provides alterations for all customers, whether it for Men clothes (trousers, suits), women costumes and suits…pretty much everything and at reasonable rates. He sometimes has helpers but mainly on his own so it does require patience for getting your alterations done. Very reasonable and very good quality. Please remember to add a tip for his work given the discount that you are getting.

We have been a customer of Sonia Jewelry for over two decades. They have a great stock of Indian jewelry, ladies dresses, saris, and an excellent on-site tailor. Their staff is very courteous and helpful. We always found Sonia to be extremely trustworthy.

We visited this store a week back to purchase a couple of gold items. The staff was very helpful, courteous and spent a lot of time with us. The owner is polite, has a good sense of humor, very pleasant and easy to work with.
Do not visit a boutique store and waste your time and theirs if you are not a serious shopper. Based on our shopping experience I have to give 5 STARS

NEVER do nose piercings here. They use earrings instead of nose studs that infect your nose and make the hole so big that the earring they use falls straight through! Cheap service, uses a piercing gun which you are never supposed to use for a nose piercing. TERRIBLE place trying to make a quick buck. Staff ensures you that they know what they’re doing and that they do this “everyday” but they don’t care when your piercing gets infected because they’re using EARRINGS for nose piercings. ZERO STARS

We have been in Herndon community for over 20 years and I have yet to see this store ever have a good managment. Time after time I have tried to give them business and it seems that if you don't speak Urdu you get the second class treatment. First of all whenever you walk into the store they are extremely rude and don't even greet you properly. They should be ashamed of themselves knowing that we live in a great country like America the proper greeting should be in English then if the customer speaks Urdu perhaps he or she will say something. I just called them to Make sure their Taylor is working and he can do some work for me and the lady on the phone said come on in. I drove to their store and they had their little meeting in Urdu in front of me without even acknowledging me first then they told sorry he got busy he can't help me. I asked the lady didn't you tell me on the phone to come in, her responds was yes but I thought he would be able to. Why is it that I am the one being inconvenienced and they don't even have the odoseity to apologize, instead their excuse is that it is a busy time for them. I am amazed this store has not gone out of business I happen to give them a try every time I forget the previous treatment. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Always lies and never fair nor on time innservice. There is nothing this store has that you can't find anywhere else. Yes 25 years ago they had a chance of abusing the customer and them return for lack of options, no more.
Stay far away and consider your myself warrned.

Can’t even begin to explain how rude the owner and employees are... definitely not going back. There are tons of better locations for getting your eyebrows threaded, clothing, and jewelry in the Northern Virginia area. Save your time and money and avoid this place!

This is a review for the threading service -
I went there after reading the reviews. Did not ask for anyone in particular and got a lady called 'Pari'
The place itself seemed decent, clean and well-lit. I would go back but will ask for someone other than Pari -
Her attitude was the exact opposite of what you would expect from someone in a customer service role. She kept checking WhatsApp everytime she stopped for a bit. When she was done she handed me a mirror - I noticed that the two eyebrows were not symmetrically shaped and pointed that out to her - she replied with a cursory "no its ok" and continued checking her WhatsApp! It was so obvious that it was not "ok" (I have had my eyebrows threaded for 20 years!) but she just ignored me and continued on her phone. I then had to tell her what to do to make it look a better, which she somewhat grudgingly did.
Finally it turned out well, but I would not go back to her because of the attitude and utter lack of interest in what she was doing.
